Our hospital offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience and develop new skills on a daily basis.Job SummaryThe Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments, performing daily biological and sterile supply testing, and maintaining detailed logs. This role involves organizing and directing instrument needs across the facility, assisting with endoscopy procedures, and managing supply orders. The technician will adhere to AVH policies and industry standards (AORN, AAMI, HSPA, CER) while completing required competencies.
