Position Overview: Join the nursing team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare as a Travel RN in the Neuro Stepdown / Med-Surg Overflow unit. Provide quality care to adult and geriatric patients with complex neurological conditions in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and care for patients experiencing strokes, seizures, and altered mental status. Provide post-craniotomy care and assist with neurological assessments. Monitor patients receiving IV drips and those requiring lumbar drains or continuous EEG. Administer medications, document patient care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Float to appropriate units as needed. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience . Previous travel nursing experience required. Level I Trauma Center and large-hospital experience required. Active Tennessee RN license or eligible compact RN license. Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS. Preferred: ACLS, Epic charting, telemetry, ICP experience, and previous charge nurse experience. Additional Details: Rotating weekend coverage and floating are required. Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility . All requested time off must be disclosed at submission.
