Custodian Technicianwith Floor Care ResponsibilitiesFull -Time • Flexible Scheduling • Federal Government FacilityShift schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 8:00pmPrimary ResponsibilitiesClean and disinfect restrooms, lounges, waiting rooms, lobbies, offices, conference rooms, and corridors to the highest hygiene standards.Pay close attention to high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment.Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a streak-free, clear appearance.Empty and dispose of trash in accordance with established procedures.Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; report shortages to your supervisor.Report maintenance issues or equipment repair needs to the appropriate department promptly.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all employees, visitors, and vendors.Uphold company policies related to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.Secondary Responsibilities - Floor CareClean, polish, and refinish tile, carpet, hardwood, and linoleum floors using specialized techniques.Operate and maintain floor care equipment including scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners.Apply floor care chemicals safely in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.Inspect floor surfaces and report damage or wear to the supervisor.Maintain records of floor care activities and supply inventory as required.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of janitorial or custodial experience preferred; prior floor care equipment experience a plus.Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection techniques, infection control practices, and hospital hygiene standards.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs; comfortable with frequent bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.Excellent communication and active listening skills; must read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Dependable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.Pre-Employment RequirementsComprehensive background check with a clean criminal record.Background check and Fingerprinting as part of the hiring process. The Kleane Kare Team is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
