Job Summary


The Financial Aid Assistant Director position is responsible for overseeing the federal/state financial aid operations; assist in supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in administration of student financial aid programs; assist in the organizing and overseeing student financial aid counseling activities; disseminating to prospective and enrolled students information regarding financial aid programs; using federal, state and university guidelines to award financial assistance within the framework set by Troy; manage all scholarship disbursement activity; maintain all social media platforms and performing other related duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Director and Associate Vice Chancellor of Financial Aid.

Minimum Qualifications


1. Bachelor's degree in a related field
2. Datatel/Ellucian Experience
3. Experience with Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications


1. Minimum of three years of experience working in a financial services environment, higher education environment, and/or other similar environment
