Position Details Midday / Evening Shift Hours: 4- 10's (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs) 1pm-11:30pm NO Call/ Rotating Holidays General CR/DR Imaging Inpatients and Outpatients, Portables imaging, and C-Arm OR 2nd floor Schoenberg Diagnostic imaging North Campus CR/DR/Portables/C-Arm/OR (experience preferred) Requirements Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education) Overview Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
