Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Floating Position

Location: Harris County Area, TX (Pasadena, Humble, Baytown, and surrounding locations)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Contract (6 Months) with Potential for Permanent Hire
Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a public health dental organization serving communities throughout Harris County. This is a floating position that requires travel between multiple clinic locations. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

The ideal candidate will have an active Texas Registered Dental Assistant certification, at least 6 months of dental assisting experience, and a passion for providing quality patient care. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during patient examinations and procedures
Take prescribed dental radiographs and intraoral photographs
Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions under the direction of the dentist
Maintain infection control standards and perform instrument sterilization
Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments
Perform preventative maintenance on dental equipment
Assist with patient scheduling and administrative support as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required
Minimum 6 months of Dental Assistant experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices
Strong communication and patient service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations
