Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in the Albuquerque, NM area serving a diverse and underserved patient population.

This is a full-scope primary care role offering the opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered care across all age groups while working within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

40 Hours per Week

13-Week Contract with Potential for Long-Term or Permanent Role
Collaborative, Team-Based Environment

• Provide comprehensive primary care including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care
• Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and ongoing care management
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists
• Manage chronic and acute conditions across all age groups
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state accepted)

• Experience in underserved, tribal, or community health settings
• Strong interest in culturally responsive care
