Already working as a technician but wondering if there’s a better shop out there?

Rod's Tire & Automotive is looking for an experienced, high-level technician who wants strong earning potential, steady work, professional respect, and weekends off.

• $35–$55/hour flat rate based on experience and ability
• Monday–Friday — no weekends
• 300+ vehicles per month with a loyal, established customer base
• No dealership-style reduced warranty labor rates
• Diagnostic time is sold and paid
• Legitimate additional labor for rust, broken bolts, extractions, modifications, etc. is sold
• Work is dispatched based on skill and availability
• Service advisors sell the work so technicians can focus on the vehicle
• Dedicated parts manager handles ordering and receiving
• We prefer OE-quality parts, and technicians have a voice in what goes on the vehicle
• Full-service repair with diagnostics, electrical, drivability, engine, suspension, A/C, brakes, maintenance, tires, and more
• Paid ASE testing and support for additional training
• Flexible time off and a shop that expects you to have a life outside work

What We're Looking For

We want an established technician who can work independently and contribute at a high level.

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical ability
• Able to accurately inspect and identify needed repairs
• Productive without sacrificing quality
• Professional tools
• Dependable work history
• Pride in doing the job right

ASE certifications are a plus.
