What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient treatment
• Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations
• Handle complex medical situations with professionalism and good judgment

What You Need
Required:

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience
• Proficiency in computer applications and patient record systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills

Preferred:

• Certification in clinical specialty areas
