Employee Type Full Time Non-Exempt Overview: Floor Leads are responsible for providing support, analysis, and recommendations to assist all Store Management and ensure operational efficiency at Store and Delivery level. Floor Leads provide best in class customer engagement and drive sales. Takes responsibility for sales floor activities inconjunctionwith store leadershipand assists theSpecialist Team by working with Store Management to perform daily operational functions. Adherestocompanypoliciesandactswithintegrityunderthedirectsupervisionofthe StoreManagement Team. In adherence to all compliance regulations governing the purchasing and selling of cannabis and non- cannabisproduct,theFloorLeadwillpartnerwiththeGeneralManager,AssistantGeneralManager/Retail OperationsManager,andInventory&ComplianceManagerineachlocationtooverseeallfacetsof policy and procedures and operational administrative duties in relation to the store. Core Responsibilities: Helpdrivestore’sprofitabilitybyguidingteammembers indeliveringapositiveandfriendly experience by engaging the customer through thoughtful conversation and exceptional service. Partner with store leadership to educate and communicate hourly and daily goals to drive sales. Assistsincommunicationofstoreteamcoverageincludingbreaksandlunchesinaccordance with business needs, traffic trends and Meal Break Policy. People Development Assume the roleof peer mentor in-store with regardsto talent development andemployee mentorship. Strategically train and develop a productive store team in core competencies of service and product knowledge. Supportthedevelopmentofteammemberswithanaptitudeorinterestin storeleadershipto ensure bench strength and succession planning. Communication Leadwithstrongcommunicationskills,bothwrittenand verbal. Possessesexcellentcommunicationskills,effectivelydelegateprojects,andconsistently follows up with the team. Exhibitconsistentprofessionalcommunication,followthroughandproblem-solvingskillswhile maintaining a global view of store operations. Communicatesstoreandcompanyinformation/directivestothestore team. Activelyparticipatesindaily,departmentandstore meetings. Effectively utilize Communication Binder, amongst other resources to ensure that important information reaches the entire team. Willingness to grow as a Floor Lead by going beyond assigned department tasks to take on additional responsibilities. Support the store operations to maximize sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise from receipt to sale. Supporttheteambycontributingtothemaintenanceofallproductstock areas. Coach the team to take initiative as employees to oversee all levels of customer service bysetting daily goals and expectation to create a positive store environment. Ensurecompliancewithcompanyemergencyandsafetyprocedurestoprotectemployeesand customers from accidents and incidents. CollaboratewithGeneralManagerandstoreleadershiptoenhancethestoreenvironmentand efficiently execute all inventory and merchandising tasks. Collaborate with General Manager and store leadership to ensure fast and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor. Exhibitastrongunderstandingofcurrentproductandtrend awareness. Thisjoboperatesinaprofessionalcannabisstore environment. This role routinely uses standard office and store equipment such as computers, phones, printers, POS. Physical Demands: Whileperformingthedutiesofthisjobtheemployeeisfrequentlyrequiredtostand,walk,usehandsor feet, reach with hands and arms, and required to lift a min of 50lbs. Travel: Thispositionmayrequireyoutotraveltocorporateofficesaswellasother storelocationsfortraining, learning and development.
