Step into a rewarding contract role serving Pre-K through 12th-grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic and supportive environment, where you'll have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of 38-42 students. The school year officially begins on August 31, 2026, but attendance at orientation and safety trainings from August 24th-28th is highly encouraged for a seamless transition—though it's not required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Maine
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric caseloads is beneficial
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, articulation, language, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and occasional professional development
