Competitive Wages And Benefits Health/Dental/Vision/Prescription Paid Life and Disability Insurance 401 (k) with Company Match Paid Vacation/Time off Responsibilities Safety Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to Understanding OSHA regulations and assisting in maintaining compliance in all areas Maintaining a general understanding and awareness of all machinery in operational, mechanical, and safety aspects Developing and enforcing Occupational Safety Policies Directing accident investigation procedures Keeping records of safety data Intervening in unsafe activities or operations Conducting safety training for all plant employees Setting a good example regarding safety and all other plant policies Other duties as assigned This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Safety Coordinator position should possess the following High School Diploma or equivalent Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled Ability to read, write and speak English Strong work ethic and eye for detail Exemplary safety record (with previous employer) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Basic computer skills Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
