Sanitation Technician

Sanitation Technician Job Overview: Sanitation Technician - Columbus, Ohio Prepares cleaning and sanitation chemicals. Operates cleaning equipment on exterior equipment surfaces and manually cleans equipment parts. Aseptically collects samples to validate sanitation procedure. Sweeps and washes floors. Cleans and sanitizes drains, pumps, hoses, bottle and can warmers. Maintains cleaning chemical storage area. Maintains sanitation records. Shift and Schedule: 3rd Shift Wednesday-Sunday (Saturdays always off with additional off day rotates Monday and Tuesday) 10:00pm - 6:00am Must have flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays and required by schedule. Position Responsibilities: Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper safety and sanitation requirements. Possess understanding of production equipment so it can be properly cleaned and operated. Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices. Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate. Perform general maintenance. Total Rewards: Pay starting at $22.52 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $23.69 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary. Requirements: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly Clean-in-place (CIP) experience is preferred.
