About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Urology Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Daytime hours, Monday - Friday (staff rotate) Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, 0900-1730) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Ability to set up a sterile field and assist in procedures - Ability to place catheters Description: The Urology Clinic serves a diverse patient population with common diagnoses including BPH, hematuria, UTI, LUTS, frequency, cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy. Daily patient ratios range from 33 to 40 patients with 2 nurses, 1 CST, and 1 CNA. No weekend or holiday requirements, as the clinic is closed during specific holidays. Daytime shifts will vary among staff, ensuring a flexible schedule. There is no call or standby requirement for the position. Registered Nurses may have the potential to float to other departments within specialty clinics, though the job duties and functions would remain the same. Scrubs of any color are acceptable for the dress code. Charts and documentation will be processed through the EPIC system. The position requires strong skills in patient care and procedural assistance within a urology setting.
