Leads the design and delivery of complex solution architectures by guiding technical teams, shaping future‑state roadmaps, and engaging stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant, and high‑quality product outcomes.This position is onsite in our Overland Park, KS location.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for design and delivery of large product/solution development engagements while balancing priorities, workloads, and client commitmentsGather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project levelParticipate in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture directionLead analysis, design and development of a cohesive roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future stateParticipate in architecture governance modelSupport design and deployment of solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businessesResearch and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activitiesEngage with clients, internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate the solution roadmap and implementation planProvide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance; motivate others to achieve shared aspirationsThis position may require availability outside of standard business hours as part of a rotational on-call scheduleQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MISAt least 4 years of technical experience in software developmentAt least 4 years of experience with full lifecycle development using Agile methods including technical leadership for an agile teamThe ability to guide complex projects from initial concepts through final launchThe ability to communicate technical knowledge to clients, cross-functional and cross-hierarchical associates and other stakeholdersKnowledge of business operations, terminology, and communication standardsPreferredExperience with capacity and performance analysis of complex systemsExperience working in heterogeneous environments (Windows .Net, Linux/Unix, As400, Mainframe)Knowledge of database architecture including Relational models, replication strategies, SQL with 1 or more major database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgres, MySQL)Knowledge of physical, virtual, and cloud deployment strategiesNetsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
