Radiology Technologist II

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a Radiology Technologist II to perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging in a fast‑paced academic medical environment. In this role, you will operate advanced radiologic equipment, follow evidence‑based imaging protocols, and ensure radiation safety and patient comfort. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and care teams, support accurate image documentation in PACS/EMR, and contribute to quality initiatives while growing your skills in a collaborative, learning‑focused culture. Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following established imaging protocols Operate and troubleshoot radiologic equipment, PACS, and related systems Ensure patient identification, safety, and radiation protection using ALARA principles Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to support clinical decision‑making Document procedures and maintain accurate records in PACS/EMR Follow infection prevention, quality control, and regulatory standards Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care and clear communication to diverse populations Diagnostic radiography Operation of X‑ray/fluoroscopy equipment PACS/RIS systems Radiation safety and ALARA principles Patient positioning and imaging protocols Contrast administration support Infection control procedures Electronic medical records (EMR) Quality assurance and image review Basic life support (BLS) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT certification in Radiography (R) State radiologic technologist license (as applicable) BLS/CPR certification Advanced modality training (e.g., CT, MRI) preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr ACHE
