Landscape Designer

Title: Landscape Designer Location: Washington – Seattle Job Type: Regular Full-Time What’s the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience in landscape architecture, environmental consulting, restoration design, and environmental planning. This position offers the opportunity to support projects at multiple stages of design, planning, and implementation while working directly with mid and senior level landscape architects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and planners. The position will support projects that improve ecological function, public access, biodiversity, and resilience. Projects range in size and type and can include coastal, riverine, and wetland habitat restoration, parks and open space, trails, and mitigation. The successful candidate may also interact with clients, members of the public, and federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Responsibilities: Conduct site analysis, design research to support conceptual design and design development. Develop 2D plan and section renderings. Develop diagrams to communicate technical information and design thinking. Develop 3D axonometric and perspective renderings. Develop presentation materials and graphic packages for clients, stakeholders, and the public. Support the preparation of construction document packages, including drawings, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates with oversight and direction. Prepare technical memoranda, meeting documentation, design research summaries, reports, and sections of reports.
