Traveling Mechanical/Process Engineer-Industrial Construction

$45 per hour

Job Description

Location: Travel-based (field assignments required)
Compensation: $45/hr ($93,600/year) + Benefits
Reports To: Site Director and/or Executive Director of Engineering

Overview:
We're looking for 1–2 early-career Process or Mechanical Engineers. This is a hands-on role in the process piping industry (steel, agriculture, semiconductors), with strong on-the-job training and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Work in NavisWorks to extract data for materials, valves, and fittings
Support field planning, ISO generation, and progress tracking
Use Excel (macros, formulas) for productivity and cost analysis
Assist with execution support on active construction sites
Collaborate closely with field engineers and site leadership

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering
0–3 years of experience
Willingness to travel and work on-site
Proficiency in:
- NavisWorks (required)
- Microsoft Excel (required)
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam (preferred)
- FastPipe (training provided)

Exposure:

Work on $50M–$100M+ industrial projects
Learn directly from experienced engineers
Fast-paced, hands-on experience in the field
