Framing Carpenter

Location: East Bethel, Hastings, Lakeville, Prior Lake, & Shakopee, MN

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Industry: Commercial Construction

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of framing carpentry experience
• At least 1 year of wood/stick framing experience
• At least 1 year of prefab framing experience
• Experience framing walls, floors, and trusses
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Experience operating nail guns and common framing tools
• Must have a tool belt and basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate and assemble wall panels, trusses, and floor systems
• Measure, cut, and install framing materials according to plans and specifications
• Perform rough carpentry and framing work on commercial construction projects
• Work independently and as part of a framing crew
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while following all safety standards
• Participate in required safety orientations and jobsite training

Preferred Experience

• Commercial new construction
• Multifamily construction projects
• Reading blueprints and construction drawings
• General construction or labor experience
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUGO, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
