Personal TrainerThe YMCA of Concord is seeking motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainers to join our wellness team! In this role, you will help members achieve their health and fitness goals by providing individualized support, guidance, and safe instruction in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Personal Trainers play an important role in building relationships with members while promoting healthy lifestyles and the YMCA's mission of strengthening community.Key Responsibilities:Provide safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions for YMCA membersConduct health history consultations with new members and provide orientation on the proper use of cardio and strength training equipmentSchedule and perform fitness assessments for new and prospective personal training clientsCoordinate and schedule personal training sessions with clientsAccurately submit documentation and accounting for completed training sessions in a timely mannerFoster a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages member engagement and retentionQualifications:Must hold a nationally recognized Personal Trainer certificationStrong knowledge of exercise science, strength training, and cardiovascular fitness principlesAbility to build positive relationships and motivate individuals of varying fitness levelsExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsCurrent CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Why Work at the YMCA?At the YMCA, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
