Location: Hastings, NE
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM | Sunday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 4 weeks

Looking for a short-term opportunity where you can put in the hours and earn a solid paycheck? We're hiring a Scale Operator in Hastings for the busy harvest season. This approximately four-week position offers $18/hour with long hours and plenty of opportunity to earn overtime.

Harvest moves fast, so we're looking for someone dependable, accurate and ready to work. You must be available seven days a week for the duration of the assignment and have excellent attendance.

What You'll Do

As a Scale Operator, you'll help keep grain moving efficiently throughout harvest. Responsibilities include:

• Operate the grain scale and weigh inbound and outbound grain
• Grade and test grain
• Collect grain samples from the grain probe
• Place samples into the moisture tester and record results
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time
• Enter information into the computer system
• Answer phones and assist customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous computer experience
• Strong reading and writing skills
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and able to work the full harvest schedule
• Must be available seven days a week without missing scheduled days during the approximately four-week harvest period
