Dental Hygienist

Job Brief We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced dental hygienist to join growing dental practice! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability once per week on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Flexible schedule. Responsibilities Provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients Educate patients on oral health and hygiene Maintain the dental office and equipment Communicate with patients and their families Provide administrative support to the dentist and office staff Skills Required Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Current license to practice dental hygiene in the state of California Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Daily Duties Prophylaxis Scaling and root planning Taking digital x-rays. Fluoride application Patient education Soft tissue/periodontal maintenance Laser treatment for periodontal pockets Take digital intraoral photos Schedule Flexible Day shift Note This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
