Dental Hygienist

Job Brief
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced dental hygienist to join growing dental practice! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability once per week on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients
- Educate patients on oral health and hygiene
- Maintain the dental office and equipment
- Communicate with patients and their families
- Provide administrative support to the dentist and office staff
Skills Required
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current license to practice dental hygiene in the state of California
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Daily Duties
- Prophylaxis
- Scaling and root planning
- Taking digital x-rays.
- Fluoride application
- Patient education
- Soft tissue/periodontal maintenance
- Laser treatment for periodontal pockets
- Take digital intraoral photos
