Material Handler Forklift Operator - Yard Worker

Job Full Description

A leading company in the construction materials industry is seeking an experienced Yard Worker to support daily operations. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy yard or warehouse environment.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and accurately
Verify orders for completeness and accuracy
Organize, sort, and restock inventory
Dispose of construction debris as needed
Check in equipment and maintain proper documentation
Manage yard tools and equipment
Enter time, materials, and activity details into the computer system

Requirements

2+ years of forklift experience
2+ years of yard or warehouse experience (construction/fence materials a plus)
Ability to pass a forklift certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, accountable, and safety-focused
Effective communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Basic math and tape-measure skills
