Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Tech IIOur client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Pharmacy Tech II for their San Francisco, CA location.Responsibilities:Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance.Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.Requirements:At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.National pharmacy technician certification.Eligible for state registration, certification or licensure per state regulations.At least 1 year experience compounding IV admixtures as a pharmacy technician.Why Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
