Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed, and infrastructure-minded Lead Systems Engineer to join our core centralized Edge Network division in a full-time remote capacity open exclusively to qualified technical engineering leaders resident within Poland, Serbia, Cyprus, or Georgia. Operating at the foundational core of our global high-concurrency content delivery and AI processing networks, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for overseeing, designing, managing, and optimizing our distributed server clusters. Shifting completely away from routine visual template skinning, basic web-form formatting, simple database entry logging, or disconnected manual patch copying, you will run an active systems architecture and site reliability laboratory—partnering face-to-face with cross-functional R&D, Product, Network, and Security pods. This position requires an internet technology or cloud infrastructure veteran with 6+ years of craft depth who maps out automated server provisioning fluidly natively using DevOps pipelines, develops low-overhead operational tooling smoothly natively using Python or Go runtime automations, and commands rigid system-hardening protocols and agentic workflows confidently under strict high-availability SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Edge Infrastructure Strategy and Design: Lead the technical architecture, deployment, and structural maintenance of our distributed edge infrastructure nodes, configuring multi-tenant physical bare-metal and cloud servers cleanly natively utilizing DevOps automation practices.
• High-Availability System Hardening: Enforce and supervise strict system-level security protections, performance tuning metrics, and failover frameworks across all connected *nix nodes to guarantee uncompromised performance defaults.
• Meticulous Provisioning Automation: Formulate, test, and implement end-to-end automated system provisioning, infrastructure monitoring, and programmatic configuration routines cleanly natively leveraging DevOps templates (including Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet).
• Advanced Tooling and Agentic Scripting: Program, maintain, and expand custom operational scripts and platform extensions smoothly natively using Python , Bash, or Go environments, integrating next-generation agentic coding models to optimize deployment loops.
• Technical Team Mentoring and Direction: Provide clear technical goals, engineering directions, continuous architectural reviews, and professional growth support to a distributed collective of systems engineers.
• Rigorous Observability and Incident Management: Establish and enforce unified best practices for platform telemetry, log analysis, and automated monitoring setups (leveraging Prometheus, Grafana, and Victoria Logs blocks), while participating in on-call engineering rotations.
• Cross-Functional Architecture Realignment: Collaborate hand-in-hand with distributed Research & Development, Network Routing, and Core Security cells to identify process bottlenecks and eliminate delivery friction points.
• Emerging Technology Evaluation: Conduct structured evaluations of raw computing technologies and software frameworks to recommend ongoing hardware improvements to our infrastructure arrays.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of verified professional history running advanced systems engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), distributed data infrastructure architecture, cloud automation programming, or technical systems consulting.
• Mandatory Team Leadership Experience: A minimum of 3 years of dedicated career experience explicitly operating in a leadership capacity, managing engineering cohorts, defining sprint goals, or serving as a technical team lead.
• Expert-tier capability writing reusable declarative playbooks, managing infrastructure blueprints, and managing multi-tenant clusters natively utilizing DevOps architectures.
• Practical operational familiarity organizing conditional script loops, optimizing utility code blocks, and parsing system data streams natively using Python or Bash frameworks.
• Authoritative technical grasp of Linux operating system internals, shell utilities, multi-tenant network abstractions, and remote file server configurations.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and scannable technical-documentation communication traits in business-fluent English, enabling absolute clarity when presenting system data models across a multi-cultural enterprise.
• Contractual Framework Requirement: This executive infrastructure position is available solely under a formal employment (labor) agreement within our designated regional entities.
