Job Summary
The CT Technologist position located in Grand Junction, Colorado involves performing a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures for diagnostic purposes. This role requires utilizing technical expertise, independent judgment, and adherence to safety protocols to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (R) certification in Computed Tomography (CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Associate degree, licensure in the state of practice, 2 years of CT experience in a healthcare setting, 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred
• Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating CT equipment with a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and protocols
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation
• Recognizes emergent patient situations and can respond appropriately
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other caregivers and patients
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) to Two (2) years of CT experience, along with healthcare setting experience
• Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment
• Stays updated with the latest advancements in CT technology, techniques, and protocols by participating in continuing education and professional development activities
