## Logistics SupervisorApplylocations: Marietta, GA USAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: August 31, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: JR34473### Job TitleLogistics Supervisor### Job Description**Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):*** Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency.* Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with company Safety Program.* Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.* Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.* Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.* Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.* Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.* Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.* Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse operational improvements.* Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.* Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.* Directly responsible for leading and managing a crew for 5-6 employees**Required Education and Experience:*** 4+ years as a Supervisor in a warehouse or distribution environment* Proficient with all MS office programs* Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)* Experienced analyzing data and reporting**Other Requirements:*** Must be able to obtain and sustain all required badging needed to work on assigned projects* **Trave**l: 80-90% travel is required**Preferred Qualifications:****Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies)*** Ability to work in a team; team player.* Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing* Ability to adapt to different situations/Flexible* Must have great customer service* Ability to work independently* Safety Management* Data Entry Management* Time Management* Equipment Maintenance* Organization* Deadline-Oriented* Dealing with Complexity**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:**This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
