Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students from kindergarten through age 22. This full-time position is designed for skilled PTs with any level of experience—not just those with a school background. If you bring a strong foundation in physical therapy, our team will provide guidance on school-specific documentation and coaching throughout the leave coverage. Enjoy a dynamic role that allows you to make a difference for students, while learning the ropes of working in a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with any level of experience; open to new grads and seasoned professionals alike
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs across K-22 age range
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn about IEP processes and school-based documentation (coaching and support provided)
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students as part of a collaborative educational team
- Assess, plan, and implement treatments to support student mobility and participation in school activities
- Maintain documentation and progress reports, with ample coaching offered for school requirements
- Work closely with teachers, administration, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as needed
