Our organization is looking to expand its Hospitalist team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York. This presents a fantastic chance to join a well-established hospital medicine program, where you will work alongside exceptional colleagues in a supportive and physician-friendly atmosphere.

• Evening shifts from 2 PM to 12 AM
• 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week
• Requirement to work 2 weekends each month
• Closed ICU environment
• Collaborative and team-oriented workplace
• Supportive team of physicians and advanced practitioners

Please note: These positions are not open to J1 or H1B visa candidates.

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
• React to medical emergencies and provide prompt interventions to stabilize patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid New York State license and DEA registration
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Currently, we are unable to offer employment sponsorship

Our organization provides a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Competitive salary starting at $270,400, with opportunities for additional earnings based on productivity.
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, and other potential cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
