Schedule Details Monday through Friday Scheduled Hours: 8:30am-5pm Shift: 1 - Day Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America) Hours: 0 Cost Center: 10020 - 3962 Cardiac Ultrasound This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Position Summary Performs all types of Cardiac Ultrasound procedures including Transthoracic Echocardiogram, Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms, and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms. Major Responsibilities Performs specialized or general procedures according to established departmental protocols. Performs ultrasound procedures for Cardiac Ultrasound procedures and other specific areas as required. Operates all types of Ultrasound equipment. Performs portable exams in various areas throughout the hospital to include the Operating Room and Intensive Care Units. Records images and makes hard copies where applicable. Uses IDXrad to schedule and complete exams as applicable. Process labels, folders and films. Serves as a resource to sonographers, MDs, and students. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college. Registration required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), including the RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, under the ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) for cardiac specialties.
