This position will remain open for application based on business need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window./ph3Position Overview/h3pAs a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for the remote monitoring, operation, and real-time analysis of Invenergys fleet of wind, solar, and battery storage facilities. This position will be located at Invenergys Center of Excellence facility in Bolingbrook, IL./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliRemotely monitor and operate wind, solar, and battery storage generation facilities and related plant equipment/liliPromptly address turbine and inverter faults/liliManage balance of plant controls and ensure reliable facility operations: power/curtailments, voltage, reactive power, and other controls as needed/liliRespond to critical alarms and situations/liliCommunicate and coordinate with site technicians, customers, grid operators, and third-parties/liliMaintain accurate logs of communications/liliAnalyze data and trends, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and escalate matters to appropriate personnel/liliMonitor weather at sites for safety of on-site technicians, personnel, and equipment/liliWork independently or collaboratively on projects and initiatives that enhance the operations and reliability of the control center/li/ulh3Required Skills/h3ulliBachelors Degree in a course of study that demonstrates strong analytical and technical skills Or 2 years of relevant experience Or military service experience in positions that require communication and analytical and decision-making skills/liliMust be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays./liliEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future./li/ulh3Preferred Skills/h3ulliExperience with SCADA systems, preferably focused on wind or solar operations/liliExperience with data monitoring software such as PI/liliExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)/liliData analysis/liliStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail/liliStrong interpersonal communication skills/li/ulpThis is a safety sensitive position.
