divh2Bilingual Cashier - Store/h2pThe Bilingual Cashier is to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. Cashiers must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavenders Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each cashiering entry. Cashiers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean and must always answer the phone with an enthusiastic response and professional manner. Cashiers will support our management staff with miscellaneous tasks like stocking, visual displays, special orders, and all basic housekeeping needs./ppDuties and responsibilities include supporting the Cavenders Culture and driving our Mission, Vision, and Values; performing cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently; keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized; being knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures; being knowledgeable of all CBC cashiering transactions including cash sales, check sales, non-taxable sales, credit cards, voids, and exchanges; entering all sales and monies in register at the time of sale; helping stock merchandise and straighten the store as needed; suggesting possible add-on purchases to the customer and promoting store specials; reporting to work promptly, neatly groomed, and appropriately attired; being security conscious at all times; providing knowledgeable responses to phone inquiries; keeping updated on sale promotions; practicing inventory control on boots; checking for boot mis-mates; following the company policy on all commission sales; validating all sales tickets; performing all other miscellaneous duties as assigned; and working with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company./ppQualifications and requirements include the ability to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift; fluency in both English and Spanish; ability to comprehend basic instructions; ability to interpret documents; ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond; ability to analyze information and write reports; and the ability to stay alert during work hours assigned./p/div
