Job Description

We're hiring an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Duty Wrecker Driver to handle heavy recovery, tractor-trailer tows, accident scene cleanup, and equipment transport.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Job description:

Operate heavy-duty wreckers
Tow and transport tractor-trailers, buses, RVs, box trucks, and heavy equipment
Rig, winch, and stabilize loads safely using proper equipment and technique
Set up scene safety and traffic control at accident sites
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and log deficiencies
Document jobs accurately: paperwork, photos, and invoicing via [dispatch software]
Communicate professionally with dispatch, law enforcement, DOT, and customers
Maintain a clean, road-ready truck

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR
[2]+ years heavy-duty wrecker/recovery experience
Current DOT medical card
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Strong working knowledge of rigging, winching, and recovery techniques
Professional demeanor with customers under stressful conditions

Preferred

Air brake endorsement
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
