Sterile Compounding TechnicianSupport the preparation and quality assurance of sterile compounded medications within a fast-paced infusion and specialty pharmacy setting. This Contract to Hire role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in sterile compounding and pharmacy operations while working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Starke, FL.Key Responsibilities:Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision following USP 797 and 800 standards.Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom procedures to ensure product safety.Perform pharmacy calculations accurately and assist with labeling, packaging, and shipment of infusion medications.Maintain detailed compounding logs, batch records, and quality assurance documentation.Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, receiving supplies, and support expiration date monitoring.Ensure cleanroom equipment upkeep and participate in environmental monitoring activities.Assist pharmacists with medication order processing and prescription fulfillment.Comply with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, OSHA standards, and company policies.Engage in staff meetings, quality improvement efforts, and ongoing training.Deliver excellent service to patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience in home infusion, hospital, or oncology settings.Strong knowledge of sterile compounding principles, USP 797 and 800 standards.Proven ability to perform medication calculations and maintain meticulous documentation.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a healthcare team.Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and technology.Strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.Location: Starke, FL Schedule:Monday-Friday7:30 AM to 4:30 PMThis 13+ week Contract to Hire position is an ideal chance to leverage your technical skills and contribute to specialized pharmacy services.
