Tech - CT

Job Summary:
The CT Technician is responsible for performing computed tomography scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring quality diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and care.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging devices to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Analyze imaging results for quality and clarity, making adjustments as needed.
• Follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Document procedures, patient information, and imaging data accurately in accordance with policy.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization.
• Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and safety guidelines related to imaging.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and coordinate with healthcare teams.
• Ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks efficiently.
