Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience Experience with Circulating Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations for Adults, Left Heart Catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and Right Heart Catheterization Experience with Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Experience in Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias and Monitoring Procedural Sedation Cerner experience required Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. The daily average census is 25 patients. The unit consists of 5 rooms. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is required for 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call duty will be required as necessary. Floating is required within the facility or to nearby affiliate locations. Candidates should discuss schedule requests with management. RTO restrictions indicate ideally no more than 5 days. The facility may call off up to 36 hours per contract without compensation for those hours. Candidates must have experience with specific cardiac procedures and medication administration related to cardiology. This role requires a commitment to completing compliance needs in a timely manner. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. References may be submitted pending verification. Completion of modules prior to the start of the assignment is necessary.
