Family Healthcare of Northwest Ohio 1191 Westwood Dr. Van Wert, OH 45891 Medical Assistant Primary Responsibilities Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the medical front desk office including: registration & maintenance of patient records, verify insurance, scheduling appointments and procedures, accounts receivable, maintaining appearance and order of the medical office. Primary Duties Conduct day-to-day functions of medical front office Assists with insurance verification for medical services Conduct registration/confirmation of daily appointments Calculates sliding fee schedules for patients and provides detailed service plan estimates Manage provider scheduling templates Monitor the reception area for a neat, cleanly, professional appearance. Ensure efficient & effective daily scheduling Secondary Duties Assist with rooming patients for appointments: (obtain medical history, document vitals, initiate interpreter services) Administration of vaccines as privileged Process Medical Records Requests Family Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Organization.
