Job Description
  • Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create personalized treatment strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Team up with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
  • Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy methods to bolster ongoing progress at home.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure patient success.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
Skills
