- Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create personalized treatment strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Team up with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy methods to bolster ongoing progress at home.
- Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure patient success.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- Genuine passion for improving lives and helping individuals achieve their utmost level of independence
- Empathetic and clear communication skills for effective interactions with both patients and colleagues
- Ability to think creatively while adapting treatment plans to address diverse patient needs
