Overview Speech Language Pathologist | Long Term Care specialty | Kent, Washington, United States Travel - temporary assignment starting 08/03/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,756–$2,815 per week. Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and establish a Plan of Care for speech-language goals; assess home environment and equipment needs as appropriate
• Identify functional speech defects and develop a care plan to improve patient function
• Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment
• Recommend communication devices and aids as indicated
• Coordinate with referring physician and other staff to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive care Plan of Care
• Document patient progress and determine ongoing need for treatment; provide patient and family education; refer to additional services as appropriate
• May supervise home health aide tasks related to the Plan of Care; participate in case conferences and other required meetings

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program meeting ASHA requirements
• Certification/ Licensure: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or CCC eligible; current state license as applicable
• CPR certification: Required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical Speech-Language Pathology experience; home care environment experience preferred
• Licensure/Skills: Active state license as applicable; ability to work in a hospital setting
• Other: Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance
