Desired Background:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Prior pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in medication administration protocols
• Knowledge of developing and maintaining student health plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Daily Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and deliver minor first aid as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document the health needs of K-6 students
• Develop, maintain, and follow individualized student health plans
• Provide guidance and support for compliance with school and health regulations
• Educate staff and students on key wellness and health practices
• Coordinate emergency care and response in collaboration with school personnel
• Serve as a point of contact for families regarding their child's health needs
