Activity Person - Crosbyton, Texas

At Crosbyton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. As an Activity Person, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and entertaining activities that promote socialization, wellness, and overall fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement diverse activity programs catering to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including art, music, exercise, and social events

• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of activities into our daily care routine

• Conduct activities and events in a way that respects and promotes the autonomy, dignity, and independence of our residents

• Participate in resident assessments to better understand their needs and preferences, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs

• Maintain accurate records of activities, resident participation, and outcomes

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;

• programming or a related field

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
