Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact working alongside educators and students as a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals in a supportive setting near Irvine, California.

As an SLPA, you will support students’ communication skills, working closely with supervising speech-language pathologists to implement therapy plans and document progress. There are two openings available, with assignments beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. This full-time role spans 37.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license/certification
• Prior experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility and positivity while adapting to changing caseloads and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist with administering assessments as directed
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Participate in team meetings as needed
