Dermatology Nurse PractitionerTinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing rural health dermatology practice in North Carolina. This position focuses exclusively on medical dermatology and offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while expanding access to dermatologic care in underserved communities.Position Details:Job Type: PermanentSpecialty: Medical DermatologySetting: Outpatient Dermatology ClinicSchedule: Full-TimeLocation: Youngsville, North Carolina (site opening 12/01/2026)Practice Environment:Rural health and community-focused practiceModern outpatient clinical settingOpportunity to establish long-term patient relationshipsFocus on evidence-based medical dermatology careProviders will work independently onsiteSupervising Board-Certified Dermatologist available remotely via phone and ZoomNo onsite dermatology team for training or collaborationIdeal for experienced, self-directed providers comfortable practicing independentlyCloudcraft EMRClinical Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full-body skin examsDiagnose and manage: acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, rashes, skin cancers and precancerous lesionsPerform dermatologic procedures including shave biopsies, punch biopsies, excisional biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion removal, wound care managementInterpret dermatopathology and diagnostic testingDevelop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physiciansPrescribe medications and therapiesProvide patient education on skin health and disease preventionMaintain accurate EMR documentationRequirements:Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA programActive North Carolina NP or PA licenseNational certification requiredRequired: Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience (post clinical rotations) under a Board-Certified DermatologistStrong procedural and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environmentMust be enrolled or have prior enrollment in Medicare/MedicaidRequired: DCNP or CAQ-Derm credentials or eligible to complete within 12 months of hirePreferred Qualifications:Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removalFamiliarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systemsInterest in rural healthcare and continuity of carePrior independent dermatology practice experience strongly preferredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysCME allowance and dedicated CME timeMalpractice coverageRetirement plan optionsDermatology-focused onboarding and training supportAbout TinkBird:TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is a specialized healthcare recruiting firm connecting clinicians with high-quality locum and permanent opportunities nationwide.
