RN - CVICU

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Candidates must be flexible to float to various units including Baywood and Heart ICU.

Location: Arizona (Note: AZ residents are not eligible for assignments in Arizona facilities)

Job Description: The focus of this position is to provide critical care to patients in the CVICU. The role requires expertise in monitoring, assessment, and holistic nursing care tailored to the cardiovascular patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and efficient environment for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
