Post Responsibilities

The coordinating physician plays a central role in the care of end-of-life patients as well as in the organization and functioning of the mobile team. The duties include:

• Advisory and clinical expertise for teams working in homes and home care services.
• Participation in initial consultation visits.
• Interviews, exchanges, and meetings with various stakeholders in the care project.
• Functional link between the professionals of the mobile team.
• Telephone listening and guidance during hours of presence.
• Cooperation with palliative care units, hospital services, and coordinating physicians of institutions.
• Networking with other mobile teams.
• Use of information and data management system (such as Globule).
• Participation in research and training in palliative care.
• Contribution to communication and information for the public and professionals (including co-organization of events).
• Participation in quality audit.

Management and organization

• Supervision and management of the multidisciplinary team.
• Recruitment of team members.
• Conducting annual reviews.
• Participation in the development plan of skills and monitoring of its implementation.
• Validation of absences, leave, and schedule adjustments according to internal rules.
• Monitoring workload and quality of collective functioning.

Benefits

• Salary starting from 5,215 gross/month (excluding seniority).

Required Profile

• Degree in general medicine.
• DU/DIU Palliative Care, DESC Pain and Palliative Medicine or FST Palliative Medicine.
• Registration with the Medical Council.
• Experience in team management is appreciated.
