PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading innovator in the medical device industry to hire a skilled CNC Machinist who is passionate about precision manufacturing, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll help manufacture critical implants and instruments that support life-changing medical procedures around the world.

What You’ll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing precision medical components while ensuring strict quality and safety standards are met.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment

• Manufacture implants and instruments at an intermediate production level

• Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs with manufacturing engineering support

• Build tooling as needed to support manufacturing operations

• Perform self-inspections and ensure proper inspection setups meet quality standards

• Train and mentor Level 1 personnel on CNC equipment and inspection procedures

• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and GD&T specifications

• Accurately document production and inspection results

• Maintain compliance with GMP procedures, SOPs, and safety policies

• Identify and report process deviations to team leadership

• Support team members and collaborate across departments when needed

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 3 years of machinist experience

• Ability to understand CNC programs

• Ability to edit CNC programs with manufacturing assistance

• Working knowledge of CNC and manual machining equipment

• Knowledge of inspection procedures and inspection equipment

• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments

• Previous experience training or mentoring team members

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory standards

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
