Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor & Orthopedic Rehabilitation

We are a private practice located in downtown New York City, dedicated to providing expert care in pelvic floor rehabilitation and orthopedics. Our therapists bring over 20 years of specialized training and international experience in both pelvic and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (part-time or full-time) to join our team and deliver evidence-based care to patients presenting with a range of conditions. The primary focus will be pelvic rehabilitation, with additional responsibility for general orthopedic cases. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough patient assessments to identify impairments, functional limitations, and goals.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, integrating manual therapy techniques and patient education.
• Delivering 50- to 60-minute therapy sessions (typical caseload: up to 7 patients per day, with a one-hour break included for an 8-hour day).
• Coordinating patient care and communications with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records using our EMR system.
• Participating in one-on-one training and in-service education sessions with senior therapists.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Physical Therapy license.
• Demonstrated experience in internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment (active elective practice preferred).
• Strong manual therapy skills in orthopedic settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Commitment to working independently with initiative, yet willing to work collaboratively as part of a skilled team.
• Continuing education in pelvic rehabilitation and/or orthopedics is a plus.
