Driving specialized data scraping workflows remotely, the part-time freelance Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage end-to-end data extraction tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability while utilizing various web scraping tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and accuracy of structured datasets Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches for JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior Required Qualifications At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs via proxies Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets) Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) as part of real workflows
