About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead its financial operations within a government contracting environment. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, operations, and regulatory compliance. This includes ensuring the company's financial health, supporting strategic growth, and maintaining full compliance with federal regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements. The role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 3 years as CFO and 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, particularly in government contracting or DoD-related industries. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include developing and executing financial strategies, providing strategic financial guidance, and preparing financial operations for growth. The successful candidate will also oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, as well as ensure compliance with FAR, DCAA, and other federal regulations. Experience in all elements of finance, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and cash management, is essential. The CFO will be expected to have a strong understanding of government contracting processes, manage financial risks, and lead a high-performing finance team. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an MBA or CPA preferred, and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
