Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, from preparing the operating room to ensuring proper patient positioning and passing surgical instruments
• Deliver top-notch pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, conducting wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure
